6 Steps to Start Your Day the Right way

Many of the world’s most successful people start their day the right way. Esther Hicks, Joe Vitale, Jack Canfield, Oprah Winfrey and other world thought leaders all understand the power of starting their day the right way and have a morning routine.

This is my 6 step routine that changed my life to one filled with much more happiness and success in a very short period of time and I now share with my coaching clients. You can begin by doing just one of these and another when you feel ready. Any of these done alone will still have a benefit.

  1. Acknowledge

As soon as I awake either naturally or by alarm, I like to acknowledge the day. A brand new fresh day and fresh new start.

  1. Appreciate

I’ll show appreciation for the fact that I did wake up, the restful steep I had, to the comfort of my bed and softness of my pillow. The beauty of the sun for lighting the earth, the roof over my head and so forth. I’ll continue on for 2-3 minutes.

  1. Intention

I set the intention for the emotions I want to feel and experience in this day. Happy, ease and clarity or fun, confident and successful are just a few of the ones I may choose. The options are many.

  1. Meditate  

For 15 minutes either of simply counting my breath or a guided morning meditation.

  1. Affirm & Visualise

I say and visualize my favorite affirmations like “I give thanks for ever increasing health, wealth and beauty”, “Divine guidance now flows through me, I know, I remember, I understand, I express myself perfectly” or “I’m so happy and grateful now that money now flows to me in increasing amounts, through multiple sources on a continuous basis”.

  1. Smile & Stretch

When we smile for long enough (1 minute), the body releases the chemical serotonin into the body, our very own, very natural feel good drug. Then just before getting up I like to have a nice long stretch and flex the body.

Now I’m feeling great and ready for a FantasticFun Filled day ahead!!
